Our student Hayrunnisa Gökce and our instructor Yunus Acar participated in the MOCA 2026 (Meeting of Change Agents) event, hosted by the Bartın University School of Foreign Languages.

The event, held under the theme “Artificial Intelligence in Schools of Foreign Languages,” explored the role of artificial intelligence in language learning and teaching from various perspectives. Through focus group sessions, participants had the opportunity to evaluate the contributions of AI particularly in vocabulary learning, writing skills, and feedback processes.

In addition, the potential impact of excessive AI use on students’ independent learning skills was also discussed.

Thanks to this event, our student and instructor had the opportunity to follow current academic developments closely and exchange ideas with participants from different universities.

In recognition of her participation, our student was presented with a certificate of appreciation by our Director, Prof. Dr. Yasin Acar.
