The EN²TECH 2026 Energy and Environmental Technologies Student Competition is organized by Ostim Technical University Energy Technologies Application and Research Center (ETAUM) to encourage the development of innovative project ideas in the field of energy and environmental technologies, to increase student participation in sustainable technology-oriented R&D studies, and to support university-industry collaboration.

The competition is a national event open to associate and undergraduate students studying at universities throughout Turkey. Applications can be submitted online between February 20, 2026 and March 25, 2026 via the following link: https://etaum.ostimteknik.edu.tr/tr/en2tech

The competition process consists of preliminary selection, an online bootcamp program, and a final hackathon to be held in Ankara on April 17-18, 2026. Developed projects will be evaluated according to the following criteria: clarity of problem definition, innovative approach, technical applicability, sustainability impact, economic feasibility, industry integration, and presentation and technical explanation adequacy.

Prizes will be awarded to the winning teams in the competition:

First Prize: 100,000 TL

Second Prize: 75,000 TL

Third Prize: 50,000 TL

Additionally, honorable mention awards of 5,000 TL will be given in the categories of Most Effective Presentation Award, Most Successful Team Leader Award, and Social Contribution Award.

Students with innovative project ideas focused on energy, environment, sustainability, and technology are strongly encouraged to participate in the competition.
