Whilst the quality assurance initiatives meticulously carried out by our University’s Quality Coordination Office continue to yield tangible results, two further departments have been awarded accreditation following comprehensive evaluations conducted by the Association for the Accreditation and Rating of Social, Human and Basic Sciences . Consequently, the number of accredited programmes at Bilecik Şeyh Edebali University has reached five, marking a significant milestone in our university’s journey towards quality.
As part of the successfully completed accreditation processes, the Department of Accounting and Financial Management and the Department of Finance and Banking, both within the Faculty of Applied Sciences, have been accredited for a period of four years. This significant achievement stands out as a concrete demonstration of the university’s commitment to educational quality, its approach to continuous improvement, and its strong academic infrastructure. Through the accreditation processes, the alignment of educational programmes with national standards has been confirmed, whilst the quality of the education our students receive has been validated by independent bodies.
Operating with a quality-focused management philosophy, our University continues to view accreditation efforts not merely as a goal but also as a vital tool for sustainable academic development. It is our aim that the quality assurance activities carried out at our University will be crowned with further successes in the coming period and that more programmes will complete the accreditation process.
n his statement on the matter, our Rector, Prof. Dr. Zafer Asım Kaplancıklı, said: “This achievement is a tangible result of the quality improvement initiatives we have been carrying out in a planned and sustainable manner at our university. We view accreditation processes as a strategic tool for continuously improving the quality of our education and teaching. I would like to thank all academic and administrative staff who contributed to this process.”
The accreditation initiatives being carried out at our university, which aims to continuously enhance academic quality in line with national and international standards, continue to represent a significant milestone in terms of institutional development. These processes are of great importance both in ensuring the quality of education and teaching and in strengthening the academic opportunities offered to our students.
