Dr. Bayram Armutcı, a faculty member in the Printing and Publishing Technologies Program at Söğüt Vocational School, has achieved notable success in the illustration/painting competition organized for the second time this year by Ganeşa Publishing House. The theme of this year’s competition was “Mythology.”

Dr. Armutcı’s illustration titled “Gilgamesh and Humbaba” was awarded first prize by the competition jury. His work, which offers an original interpretation of the powerful figures from the ancient Mesopotamian epic, drew attention for its creative fusion of mythological narrative and contemporary aesthetic elements.
