Within the scope of the 2025 Doctoral Thesis Awards presented by the Turkish Economic Association (TEK), Dr. Deniz Göktaş, a faculty member at our University’s Bozüyük Vocational School, was awarded third place.
Dr. Göktaş received the award in the field of Economics for his doctoral dissertation titled “Essays on Socioeconomic Aspects of Mental Health: The Case of Türkiye.” Completed at Marmara University under the supervision of Bilge Eriş Dereli, the dissertation examines the socioeconomic dimensions of mental health in Türkiye and makes a significant contribution to the field.
As part of the 2025 Doctoral Thesis Awards, the first prize was awarded to Tuğçe Tatoğlu, the second prize to Çağlar Yüncüler, while the third prize was jointly awarded to Deniz Göktaş and Oktay Özden.
