The 62nd Library Week events, organised under the theme ‘The Healing, Developing Library’, have commenced at our university.

The opening ceremony took place on Monday 30 March, attended by our Rector, Prof. Dr. Zafer Asım Kaplancıklı, and our Vice-Rector, Prof. Dr. Nazile Ural. At the first event, held in the Dursun Fakih Hall of the Prof. Dr. Azmi Özcan Library, Dr Ali Okumuş delivered a lecture on the topic ‘A Cultural Heritage of Bilecik: The Kulaklıtaş Fountain’.

Following the conclusion of the programme and the lecture, our Rector, Prof. Dr. Kaplancıklı, and our Vice-Rector, Prof. Dr. Ural, visited the exhibition titled ‘Ephemera Collection Exhibition: Traces of the Past’, prepared as part of Library Week and bringing traces of the past into the present, and examined the exhibits.
