Prof. Dr. Yasin ACAR, a faculty member of our department, appeared on TRT Arabi to discuss the implications of Fitch Ratings’ upgrade of Turkey’s sovereign credit rating and to assess the financial and economic impacts on G20 economies, for which international organizations have forecast accelerated growth this year and next.

Our department faculty member, Mr. Yasin ACAR, has been awarded the title of Professor. We congratulate our professor and wish him continued success.

Our department's teaching staff member, Research Assistant İbrahim KESİCİ, held a talk on "Tax Awareness and Financial Literacy" at Bilecik Şeyh Edebali Anadolu Imam Hatip High School. The event, which was also attended by Associate Professor Yasin ACAR, aimed to raise students' awareness of taxes and financial markets. We would like to thank the school principal, Ahmet Basatemur, and all our teachers for their hospitality.

Department of Public Finance Advisory Board convened for its first meeting. During the meeting, which addressed the accreditation process, the Education and Training Commission's work on the educational objectives and program outcomes of the undergraduate program was evaluated, and the opinions of the board members were gathered.   We would like to thank our Advisory Board members for their participation and valuable opinions.
