Our university took part in the "Public Sports Games" events which were held across 81 provinces to celebrate the centenary of our Republic. We are proud to have achieved third place in table tennis and secured the second place cup for 3x3 basketball. These tournaments were held at Atatürk Sports Hall from October 2nd to 4th, 2023. Additionally, our university's table tennis team was ranked third overall. Our faculty members, Associate Dr Muhammed Benli and Associate Dr Yasin Acar from the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, alongside Research Assistant Erkan Hüseyin Akpınar from the Faculty of Engineering, were determined contributors to the team. Our 3x3 basketball team competed against a squad comprising Assoc. Dr. Salih Mutlu from the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Instructor Birkan Güneş from Gölpazarı Vocational School, Selçuk Güvenir from the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design, and Ibrahim Süyen from the Rectorate Private Office, and finished the tournament in second place.
