Support Message to Palestine from Our Students

During this time when Israel is continuing to commit crimes against humanity against the Palestinian people, our international students could not remain silent. They gathered in front of the Faculty of Islamic Sciences at our university and condemned the attacks against the Palestinian people.

A cohort of students from various clubs including Virtuous Youth Self-Return Operation, Jerusalem Historical Studies, Young Thought, Science and Idea, Young IHH Humanitarian Aid, Theology Society, Academic Thought Education and Civilisation, within the Department of Health, Culture and Sports at our university demonstrated against Israel's assault on Palestine

Furkan Engiz, a second-year student from the Faculty of Islamic Studies, read a statement on behalf of the club representatives. He stated, "The world must know that Jerusalem is akin to the mother of Muslims. The oppression of Jerusalem will never be forgotten by Muslims. It is important to note that this is not a war, but a genocide. Gaza is the largest open-air prison globally, where the oppressed are the prisoners." Humanitarian aid channels need to be promptly established for Palestinian Muslims and military and diplomatic sanctions should be imposed on Israel. Islamic leaders must lend support to their oppressed brethren.
